Dennis N.
Carter,
M.D.
Dr. Carter graduated
from the United States
Air Force Academy with a
Bachelor of Science
degree in Biology. He
received his Doctor of
Medicine degree from
Tulane University
in Louisiana.
After completing his
residency at Keesler Air
Force Base, he spent
four years in Alaska and
Montana with the Air
Force before relocating
to Boise, which he and
his wife Suzanne decided
was an ideal place to
raise a family and enjoy
the outdoor
opportunities available
in Idaho.
Dr. Carter very much
enjoys staying current
with advances in medical
technology. Notably, he
was the first physician
in Idaho to use
endometrial ablation,
which is an alternative
to hysterectomy, for
medical treatment of
bleeding conditions. He
is also a leader in the
use of the hysteroscope—a
minimally invasive
approach to treating
lesions of the uterine
cavity.
With Suzanne and his 4
children he enjoys
fishing, hunting, snow
skiing and water skiing.
Dr. Carter is a member
of the American
Association of Pro-Life
OB/GYN’s (AAPLOG).
